De functie / The role

Within the new Dutch Hospital Business Unit we are looking for a Country Portfolio Lead Sterile Injectables.

The sterile injectables/bulk portfolio consists of a diverse portfolio of over 40 hospital products

As our new The Country Portfolio Lead Sterile Injectables/Bulk (CPL) we offer you an exciting opportunity to join the new Dutch Hospital Business Unit. The CPL is HQ-office based and is the lead person representing the portfolio at country level and is responsible to achieve or surpass the revenue and market shares targets of the Pfizer Sterile Injectables/Bulk Portfolio by developing and executing strategic (portfolio) plans. Besides leading the in-country cross functional team and a proactive collaboration with the KAM and the Tender & Trade Lead the CPL will also be actively collaborating with global teams providing input to Global strategic and tactical plans

The Country Portfolio Lead will be reporting into the Hospital BU Lead

As our new CPL your main responsibilities will be:

Operational and Financial Performance

Accountable for the yearly OP planning, sales targets, long range forecasting of the portfolio and contributing to quarterly updates that are reported and forecasted in the latest estimates.
Accountable for the planning, spending & controlling of budgets of the portfolio and developing regular spending forecast updates to aid financial planning.
Maximize revenue of the portfolio by optimization and rigorous management of the Contracting & Tendering process in close collaboration with the Tender & Trade Lead, KAM, trade administrator and local supply
Monitor and track performance and stock situations, identify areas of opportunity and risk and develop and execute correcting actions where needed in agreement with HBU lead
Proactive COGS management

Strategy, Innovation & Execution

Development and implementation of local strategic and tactical plans based on customer/account insights, competitive and environmental analysis, aligned across key stakeholders
Pursue market innovation opportunities which meet the needs of customers/accounts, and supports business goals
Leverage all applicable digital omni channels to widen the reach of the portfolio in the marketplace
Lead the development of promotional materials based on customer/account insights and customer/account needs, following the executional processes of the Glocal model
Optimize growth opportunities Ensure high standards of Compliance to norms, policies, and procedures

Customer Facing

Drive KOL development and advocacy in accordance with Pfizer policies and maintain
personal contact with key customers/KOLs
Understand key environmental and customer issues in The Netherlands and ensure strategy reflects the insights gathered

Het profiel / Your profile

Education: Master"s Degree in Science, Life Sciences or Business

Experience:

7 years in a commercial/marketing role in Pharmaceutical Industries with a proven track record in digital content and omnichannel marketing
Broad knowledge and experience of the Hospital healthcare and pharmaceutical environment; experience with contracting of LOEs preferred
Experience in strategy development based on customer/market insights


Key Competencies & Skills:

Strategic and analytic thinking
Entrepreneurial mindset combined with business and marketing acumen
Managing complexity across brands - ability to simplify complex situations into simple solutions
Ability to influence and inspire across stakeholders in a matrix environment
Proven track record of working collaboratively with others across functions
Strong Communication and Presentation Skills in both Dutch and English

Decisive, result driven, solution oriented, proactive, can do mentality, seizes accountability, agile

Willingness to travel as required
