Manager Flexible/Staff Augmentation & Utilization Lead
The Manager Flexible/Staff Augmentation & Utilization Lead is a member of the Strategic Partnerships department and responsible for the operational aspects of assurance of supply, the systems to manage on- and offboarding including relevant staff and overseeing day-to-day operations of the Flex model. In parallel will be involved in overseeing sourcing providers and supporting a GCDO wide sourcing strategy
This position will be involved in managing communication and implementation of Flex Staff augmentation model. Work closely with AD roles in the unit and Flex providers to support the strategy for the partner relationship. Ensure unified approach in Partner governance, by supplying data analytics support and lead input for landscape analysis
Will serve as coordinator on day-to-day staff augmentation strategy related activities to direct, fortify and manage the assigned interfaces.

Manager Flexible/Staff Augmentation Providers
Understand GCDO business partners needs and involvement in a strategy based on long-range portfolio planning, workforce needs and local-country landscape changes
In close collaboration with Flex Strategy AD provide support to development of Knowledge center and Flex Council ensuring the leveraging of existing tools, instruments and processes
Support implementation of the Global Flex Staff Augmentation model and governance structure; operational management in meeting logistics to assess the overall functioning of the relationship.
Manage issue blocking issue and resolution process where applicable
Support execution of strategic plans targeted at on-time supply of Flex Staff Augmentation resource needs and utilizing business intelligence on country regulations, market dynamics and partner specialties.
Support metrics collection and business intelligence processes facilitating the decision support processes at the various Janssen Business partner"s leadership levels. Anticipates problem areas, opportunities and threats through global heat maps.
Collaborate with Partnership Enablement on metrics, data and processes
For assigned partners lead the G&O expectations and ensure alignment with the vision, strategy and capabilities of Staff Augmentation
Develop an operational working relationship with the partners to effectively drive and support the Flex Model goals
Understand the needs of the Functions, their long-term strategies and how the partner can be engaged in delivering those needs.
Manage expectations and other goals aimed for by the partnership; provide input and support in adjusting the strategy needed to deliver these where necessary.
Communication & management
Involved in day-to-day management of partnership activities, alignment with Janssen Functions, strategic roadmap alignment and related activities.
An operational level of understanding of the contractual obligations toward the partner and avoids potential liabilities from not adhering to those.
Decision-making and problem-solving:
This role is supporting and /or driving implementation and maintenance of the Flexible Staff augmentation model. This role will resolve operational problems that may arise in implementation of the activities
Independence / autonomy:
Operates under limited supervision with a medium level of autonomy. Expected to engage and be dedicated in the setting of priorities to achieve SP goals and objectives.
This position reports to the Director Staff Augmentation/Flex Strategy Lead.
RESPONSIBILITY FOR OTHERS (If applicable):
Must be able to effectively lead and operate in a matrix environment and influence and collaborate with multiple partners on a regular basis.

Knowledge, education, experience, communication skill requirements:
A minimum of a Bachelor"s or University degree in a scientific discipline is required. An advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, MD, PhD) is preferred. A minimum of 6 years of relevant industry experience is required.

Working conditions/travel requirements:
This position is global and can be based in either the US or EMEA regions.
Working conditions require resolution of complex problems within set timelines.
Approximately 10-20%- internationally.
